Riley B. King was a disk jokey here in Memphis, TN and was dubbed "the Beale Street Blues Boy". His name was later shortened to B. B. King. In this painting you can see a guitar, this was inspired by his personal guitar that he named Lucille. He got this guitar the same year he made his first recording in 1949. This painting was inspired by the King of Blues himself and you can even visit BB King's Blues Club on Beale Street.
